Blood Sugar Monitor Diabetes
Diabetes blood sugar testing question…?
My grandmother needs to test her blood sugar twice a day. Being elderly, she has a hard time seeing the numbers on the unit and also has trouble getting the needle in the lancer. Is there an easy-to-read, easy-to-load, one step monitor? Any suggestions???
The ACCU-CHEK Multiclix lancet device has a drum with 6 pre installed lancets, she will still need you to replace the drum, but at least it is not every time she tests. Also I know a lot of diabetics that use a lancet a couple days at a time. As far as meters, there is a Abbott Freestyle Freedom that has a large display and I know there are others, go to a pharmacy and check them out. There are even meters that talk to you. You do not have to use the same brand lancet as meter.

Since they are rich in omega-3 oil, two servings per week is advisable to lower blood sugar.
Fats and oils (Saturated): The saturated fat extracted from animal products, or from some natural foods like coconut, cocoa, palm products, commercially baked products, fast foods and margarine are highly detrimental to health.
Fats and oils (Unsaturated): Fats and oils are generally harmful, but not all. Oils extracted from sunflower, corn, safflower and soybean contain unsaturated fatty acids that are good for health.
